Given the soaring prices of materials and the interest that people relate to studies of comparative prices, I suggest you all to participate in a large survey of prices for supplies of False Ceilings, Doublings and plasterboard partitions.
Here attached a list you can print for your convenience the price survey.
I propose that this be done in all major cities in France. If everyone contributes in raising the price of a single supplier of materials we will see if any real competition and what are the most expensive items that often compensate for sales promotions.
I propose that this be done comparisons between the major national brands like DIY Castorama, Leroy Merlin, Mr. Bricolage, Brico Depot on one side and merchants such materials at the National Point P, Pro Network, Big Mat selling a lay public. Must specify whether the price is in M2, the pack and how much-or part, if it is inclusive of VAT.
in general what I see is that the DIY store selling the gypsum board and the 2.50-rails and studs for this height-cheaper than dealers who specialize in building materials and either more expensive or not at all, as regards the plates which are of greater height.
